Amritsari Chole kulcha

Boil the soaked chole in a cooker along with a bag of tea leaves. Take about 5-6 whistle. In a pan heat some oil/ butter. Then add onions and ginger garlic paste. Cook till the onions get brown.

Now add tomato puree. Remove the chole from cooker in a bowl. Add all the spices along with hot oil. Mix them properly.

Add this chola mixture to the gravy. Add water and let it cook on medium flame.

Later garnish it with coriander leaves and lemon juice. To make kulcha, take all the ingredients except butter in a big utensil.

Knead it with water to obtain a soft dough. Cover it and let it rest for half an hour. Then add butter and some more flour and knead it again.

Heat the pan. Once the pan is hot, apply water on one side of the kulcha.

Place the kulcha on the pan from the side where you applied water so that it sticks.
Cook it from this side. Then apply water on the other side and sprinkle coriander leaves on it so that it sticks. - 9
Now reverse the pan to cook the kulcha from the top. Apply lots of butter on the kulcha and serve it with chole.
