An Inexpensive Feast Made with Chicken Breast Deep-Fried Chicken with Mayonnaise

When I ate Ebi-mayo (deep-fried shrimp in mayonnaise), I thought chicken would also be delicious if similarly prepared! When I tried making it, it was a hit! This is a menu that makes you enjoy saving money.

Since chicken breasts tend to be dry, soaking in sake makes it moist. Chicken goes together well with the richness of mayonnaise.
If you don't have condensed milk, add a bit more sugar.
You can also use chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts! Recipe by Kaeha

Steps

  1. 1

Cut the chicken breast lengthwise into 2 to 3 strips, and slice diagonally into 1 cm-thick pieces. Please don't throw away the skin. Please try using it like this:

  2. 2

Put the chicken breast, sake, salt and pepper into a Ziploc bag, and thoroughly rub the seasoning into the meat. Let it sit in the fridge for about 1 hour.

  3. 3

Mince the Japanese leek, and mix with all the ● ingredients in a bowl to make the mayonnaise sauce.

  4. 4

Prepare oil for deep-frying. Fill a frying pan with vegetable oil about 5 mm from the bottom, and set the heat to medium.

  5. 5

If you see liquid pooling in the bag from Step 2, discard the liquid. Add the cake flour and coat the chicken. If this is difficult to do in the bag, you can use a tray.

  6. 6

Add your chicken from Step 5 to well-heated oil and deep-fry both sides until it becomes slightly golden brown. After deep-frying, drain the excess oil by laying the chicken pieces on top of paper towesl.

  7. 7

Transfer to the bowl from Step 3 while it's still hot. Mix with the mayonnaise sauce, and you're done!

  8. 8

If you add colourful vegetables, it will look much more delicious! It looks so gorgeous that I can't believe it's made with chicken breast.
