Versatile Microwaved White Sauce (for Beginners)

This is a versatile white sauce my parents used to make when I was young. It's surprisingly easy to make, so I recommend you give it a try.
It doesn't have much taste, so season it with salt or consommé to suit the dish you are making.
In Step 2, the key is to heat it without mixing. If it hardens, quickly mix in a little milk while the sauce is still hot. Recipe by mii01

Easy, Quick, and Microwaved Basic White Sauce Easy, Quick, and Microwaved Basic White Sauce
I saw this in a book but I made it easily more delicious by adding some milk to it. Also, by making it in the microwave, it doesn't burn, it has a nice color, and it doesn't dirty many dishes making it quite handy! For the grams part of measurement, you can convert it as necessary. You can use 10 g flour, 10 g butter, and 150 ml milk (you can even adjust the amount of milk too). It'll go well in many different recipes.Rather than make a regular basic sauce, I seasoned this with consommé and other flavours. If you don't cook it enough or cook it too much, you can put it right with more milk, water, and flour. If you half the amount of butter used, this becomes a low calorie recipe. Easy Microwave White Sauce Easy Microwave White Sauce
I was wondering if there was a way to easily make white sauce, so I tested various recipes.Step 1: Stir with a whisk after the butter has melted. This is the trick in preventing lumps! Step 3: The cooking time will vary depending on the microwave, so when you take it out to stir, check on the condition as well. Once it reaches the thickness that you want, it's done. Easy White Sauce in the Microwave Easy White Sauce in the Microwave
I was able to easily make this by referring to Ms. Sachiko Murakami's microwavable recipes. The flavor is simple but skim milk powder and vegetable oil turned out to be a hit and it was easy to make! I have used this in other recipes as well and it doesn't affect the flavor. If you're want a stronger and richer flavor, butter is the best. Using vegetable or oilve oil gives it a more simple flavor. It's hard to thicken it though so please refer to Step 5. I think it's best to heat up gradually and cook down till the moisture evaporates. In Step 4, be sure to mix well so that the flour doesn't settle on the bottom. Recipe by maynyan cookpad.japan -
Easy White Sauce in the Microwave Easy White Sauce in the Microwave
I've been making white sauce with this recipe for a long time. It's easy, but the taste is pretty authentic! Perfect for doria (rice casserole) and dishes cooked au gratin.Microwave it without cling film wrapped over it! It may not seem thick enough at first, but once it cools down, the sauce will naturally thicken. The sauce is well seasoned, so adjust the taste with other ingredients!
