I tried many different recipes of waffles but I finally settled with this one. They aren't too sweet. There's only a moderate amount of butter. The finished product is nice and light to garnish with lots of toppings.

You can make this batter just by mixing the ingredients in order from the top. Making the batter can be done really quick, so heat the waffle maker at the same time. Recipe by Yukiline

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 200 gramsA) Cake flour
  2. 2 tspA) Baking powder
  3. 40 gramsA) Sugar
  4. 150 gramsMilk
  5. 50 gramsYogurt
  6. 2Eggs
  7. 30 gramsButter
  8. 1 dashVanilla extract

Cooking Instructions

    Put the A) ingredients into a bowl and stir around and around with a whisk about 30 times to make it fluffy (instead of sifting).

    Add the milk, yogurt, and egg and mix until smooth.

  3. 3

    Finish it off by mixing in the melted butter and vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Pour 1 ladle of batter into the heated waffle maker for 1 waffle.

    Close the lid and and cook until they become nicely browned.

    They're done. The surface is crisp and the inside is fluffy.

    Top with lots of maple syrup and butter.

    Eating them while piping hot is supreme bliss.
