The best way to enjoy spring cabbage has to be sesame oil + salt.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 300 gramsSpring cabbage
  2. 1 tspSalt
  3. [A]
  4. 2 tbspGround sesame seeds
  5. 2 tbspSesame oil
  6. 1 1/2 tbspVinegar
  7. 1/2 tspSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Chop the cabbage roughly. Add 1 teaspoon salt in enough water and soak for 10 minutes. Remove the cabbage from the salt water and squeeze the water out.

    Add the combined seasoning marked [A] to the cabbage in Step 1. Mix thoroughly and it's done!

    For winter cabbage, try the "Addictive Cabbage" pickled in ponzu sauce.
