I make my own teriyaki sauce and use it with stir-fried pork or chicken to create rice bowl dishes.

■ Whenever I go to a tonkatsu restaurant they often serve cabbage with their pork. The cabbage is very thinly sliced, which is an effect that I tried to recreate in this recipe. I use a large slicer that can slice up cabbages. Recipe by FarmersK

You can make teriyaki sauce very easily. Check out the recipe here..

Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces and shred the cabbage with a slicer. The more thinly sliced, the better.

Lightly grease a frying pan with some oil and stir-fry the pork over high heat for 1 minute. Then add the teriyaki sauce and when it's cooked down halfway, stop the heat.

Place lots of cabbage on top of a bowl of rice, followed by a layer of cooked pork and sauce from the pan. Then top the rice bowl with some finely sliced spring onion to finish.
