In a kadai, add 1 tbsp and add the chopped onion and little salt and saute well till it becomes transparent. Then add the ginger and garlic and saute well and then add the tomatoes and saute well till it becomes mushy. Then allow to cool and make a paste.

In a kadai, add 2 tbsps, then add cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf and saute. Then add the tomato paste and add little water and cook the paste. Then add chilli powder and garam masala and mix well and then add the paneer cubes and cook well.

Once everything gets combined, add 1 tbsp fresh cream and stir well. Add crushed kasoori methi leaves and add 1 tbsp and fresh cream. Panner butter masala is ready!!!
