Ingredients

30 minutes
4 persons
  1. 1.5 cupswheat flour
  2. 2boiled medium size potatoes (grated)
  3. Handfulinstant oats
  4. 1/4 cup pizza cheese (grated)
  5. 1/4 cup butter (grated)
  6. as per tasteSalt
  7. 1/2 tspmixed herbs
  8. 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  9. (certainly increase the amount for that nice peppery flavour)
  10. as neededGhee to roast
  11. as per needPizza cheese (small block)
  12. as neededWater for kneading

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl, put wheat flour, oats, potatoes, cheese, butter, salt, black pepper powder and mixed herbs. Mix all well.

    Made for kids so added less pepper, but certainly increase the amount, it tastes awesome.

    Now gradually add water and make a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
    Next, knead the dough little bit after resting. Divide into equal small portions. Roll out the dough into thick rotis.

    Heat the tawa and roast flatbreads with ghee, till they are nicely roasted from both the sides.
    Transfer to a serving plate. Brush some ghee and serve hot.

    Potato cheese flatbreads are ready...

    If you like it more cheesy, then do not brush ghee, instead grate some pizza cheese on the roasted flatbread and microwave for 30 seconds. Serve hot cheesy flatbreads. These are fabulous..

    These flatbreads are nice, soft. They have the flavours of herbs and pepper blended well...a must try...
    Serve with sauce and mayo dip.
