When I got two cut small size Louki / Bottle gourds, I thought why not make Bharwa Louki with it like the Bharwa Karela and Parwal.
It will nearly take an hour or so to steam and cook the stuffed bottle gourd. It goes well with rice and roti both.
For stuffing you can do veg or non veg.

Steps

Cut the top portion so that you can use as a lid. Peel and scoop the Louki / Bottle Gourd. Stuff with the cooked Keema or any Veg stuffing of your choice. Put the top portion as lid and tie with a thread or use a toothpick to secure it.

Place the stuffed Bottle gourds in a kadai and add the pickle masala, salt, water and mustard oil in it. Let the water be below the edge of the bottle gourd and add water as and when needed.

Cover and cook the Bottle Gourd till it's softened and cooked but holds it's shape. After the water dries off, fry it in the residue oil and masala. Once done, serve hot with steamed rice or roti or anything you love to have with. Bon Appetite!
