Ingredients

4-5 servings
  1. 1 cupred kidney beans
  2. 2big ripe tomatoes puree
  3. 1onion finely chopped
  4. 2 tbspghee
  5. 1 tbspoil
  6. 1 tspcummin seeds
  7. 1 tbspfreshly ground ginger garlic paste
  8. 1 tspred chilli powder
  9. 1 tspdhaniya jeera powder
  10. 1 tbsprajma masala powder or garam masala
  11. 1 tspkasuri methi
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves to garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak rajma (kidney beans) overnight. Pressure cook soaked rajma with fresh water,pinch of soda bi carb,salt for 6-7 whistles.

    In kadhai add heat ghee and oil. Add cummin seeds as splutter add ginger garlic paste, saute for 30 seconds. Add chopped onion and saute till brown in colour.

    Add red chilli powder, dhania jeera powder, rajma masala powder, hand crushed dry kasuri methi saute for 1 minute. Add tomato puree and salt. Cook till oil separate and gravy thickened.

    Add boiled rajma as needed little water and cook for few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves at the time of serving.

    Serve /Relish delicious Rajma Masala with parathas or chawal (boiled rice)!
