For all those who don’t have an oven at home, this is a wonderful alternative to making baked salmon. The salmon is delicious and tender and sweet from the mirin! Super easy marinade with only 3 ingredients needed!

For all those who don’t have an oven at home, this is a wonderful alternative to making baked salmon. The salmon is delicious and tender and sweet from the mirin! Super easy marinade with only 3 ingredients needed!

Rub salt over salmon. Leave for 10 mins and wipe dry. This is to remove any odor from the fish and also to allow it to better absorbed the marinade.

Marinade salmon with mirin and shoyu for at least an hour.

Place parchment paper in frying pan. Place salmon over it and cook on medium heat for 4 mins. Then cover and cook on low heat for another 4 mins. Lastly, turn it around and cook uncovered on medium high heat for 4 mins.
