My Pear Crumble with IceCream 💛

I have not made this in a long time but here it is so good. Stewed pears are so nice and I put crumble on top pop in the oven and 20 minutes later here it is. So nice 👌😋

I have not made this in a long time but here it is so good. Stewed pears are so nice and I put crumble on top pop in the oven and 20 minutes later here it is. So nice 👌😋
Steps

Peel and cut up the pears into a pan, and add water and cinnamon stick.

Next add sugar and lemon juice and cloves bring to the boil and turn low stew for 15 minutes. When it's all soft take off excess water and the cinnamon stick just leave a little water in the bottom.

Add flour to a bowl then add butter to it. Rub with your fingers until all mixed in and looks like breadcrumbs

Next add 2 Tbls Dark brown sugar and mix in. Also a little pinch of salt. Set aside.

In an oven proof dish grease all around with a tiny bit olive oil. Then drain off excess liquid off the stewed pears leaving a little in the bottom and add to the dish.

Level the pears out then start adding the crumble all over about 1/2 inch high on top of the pears. Add to preheated oven 190°C for 15 - 20 minutes check to see if it's browned then it's ready.

Take out rest it then add it to the bowls when your ready to have dessert and add a big dollop of Ice cream on the side or on top.
