For a Sheppard Pie,cause ground lamb instead

Peel, quarter and boil your potatoes in pot

In a large skillet, melt half the butter and sautee the vegetables for a minute

Add ground beef to the pan and season the meat with salt, pepper and onion powder. Cook until no longer pink. Add the Worcestershire and broth and bring to a simmer. Set heat to low and cook uncovered for 10 minutes

Mash the cooked potatoes and remaining butter, season it

In a casserole dish, put the meat mixture on the bottom, spreading it evenly. Layer the mashed potatoes on top and bake in a 400° oven for about 30 minutes. When done, remove from the oven and let it set for 10 minutes before serving
Side note:. Sprinkle a bit of shredded cheddar to each serving
