Ingredients

30 minutes
2 servings
  1. 2Boiled and mashed potatoes large
  2. 2 cupsAmaranth or Rajgira flour
  3. 2Chopped green chillies
  4. 1 tspGinger paste
  5. 1 tspChilli powder
  6. 1 tspJaggery powder
  7. 1.5 tspCumin powder
  8. 1 tablespoonPeanut powder
  9. 1/2 cupCurd
  10. 1 tablespoonChopped coriander leaves
  11. as per tasteRock salt
  12. as per needWarm water to bind the dough
  13. 1 tspghee or peanut oil for each Paratha to roast
  14. as neededYou can make without oil or ghee too on nonstick tawa

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    First, take all the ingredients in a deep Bowl. Mix well.

    Add warm water and slowly bind to a firm dough. Use only enough water in small quantities. Avoid a sticky dough.

    Keep covered for 10 minutes. Then heat a tawa. Roll out ball sized portions on a rolling surface.

    Roll out to thick Paratha or press director on tawa to make thick roti like flat bread.

    Pour 1tsp ghee per Paratha around the sides, cover and cook till crisp on both sides.

    Make all the parathas in similar way. Serve immediately with spiced curd, coriander and curd dip, tamarind chutney or peanut and curd chutney. Enjoy your fasting days.
