Ingredients

20 minutes
4 people
  1. 1pizza dough ball from local super market or pizza shop
  2. Tomato/ basil marinara or Rao’s Pizza sauce
  3. Low Moisture Mozzarella
  4. Grated Parmesan Cheese
  5. leavesFresh Basil
  6. Flour
  7. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  8. Optional Sausage
  9. 2 Sausage Patties chopped up and browned in a skillet Place on pie after mozzarella and the cook time will be the same as you precooked the meat

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

Preheat oven to highest bake temp. About 450f

  2. 2

Flour a flat clean surface and roll pizza dough until covered with flour. Start manipulating it outwards into the shape you desire. I use a full size baking pan

  3. 3

After getting your dough in place on the baking sheet ladle the sauce onto the dough. Try to cover not drown the dough in sauce. You’ll get too wet of a pie otherwise

  4. 4
  5. 5

Take the Parmesan cheese and cover the entire sauced cover dough.

  6. 6

Take the mozzarella and cover completely your pie.

  7. 7

Place your basil leaves whole or rough chopped onto pie. Drizzle the top with olive oil

  8. 8

Place into preheated oven 5-10 minutes depending on your ovens ability. Mine gets cooked in 5 but I go another minute to get a nice charring

  9. 9

Take out and cut into slices. It’s easier to do this hot
