Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cupgochugaru (korean red pepper flakes)
  2. 1/3 cupwater
  3. 2 tablespoonshoney
  4. 3 tablespoonsred miso paste
  5. 1 1/2 tablespoonssake
  6. 1/2 teaspoonrice vinegar
  7. 1/2 teaspoonsalt

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes

    Add gochugaru (pepper flakes), water, honey, and miso paste to a pot and stir on medium heat until mixture bubbles.

    Turn off the heat and leave for 15 minutes.

    Stir in sake, rice vinegar and salt
    Then transfer the mixture to a bowl. Let cool to room temperature
