Steps
- 1
First, take a bowl and mix the all-purpose flour with yogurt. Add a little water to make a batter similar to that for fritters—not too thin and not too thick. Finally, mix in the baking soda. You can also add food color to the batter if desired.
- 2
On the other side, place a pan on the stove with 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water to make a syrup. Add food color and cardamom powder to the syrup and mix well. It should be like the syrup for rasgulla but not cooked as much, just a little less.
- 3
Now take a packet of milk, fill it with the jalebi batter, and make a small cut at the corner to shape the jalebis. Heat oil in a pan and create the jalebi designs, flipping them to cook evenly. Once they turn light red, remove them and dip them in the syrup.
- 4
Now the jalebi is ready. Serve hot; it tastes very delicious.
