Wash,peel and chop the ginger.Wash the cucumber, peel and dice it.

In a blender, blend together the cucumber, ginger and water until smooth. Sieve over a small bowl. Press the juice pulp against the sieve to extract as much liquid as possible.

Discard pulp and strain the mixture again, if desired. Add sugar, ice, lemon juice and stir well.

Chill if desired.Serve and enjoy.
