Ingredients

10 minutes
Half kg
  • 300 gramsDessicated Coconut
  • 1 tinCondensed Milk
  • as required Few strings of Kesar if want to keep burfi white you can skip this
  • PinchElaichi powder
  • as requiredAny dry fruit for garnishing..I have used Badam. You can use pistachios too
  • as required Ghee to apply on mould

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Take heavy bottomed pan or kadai. Dry roast dessicated coconut on low flame. Keep stirring it so that it doesn't change its colour. Add Kesar in two tablespoon of warm milk

    When you get the smell of coconut add condensed milk and mix well. Also add Elaichi and Kesar milk too.

    Grease the mould in which you want to set your Burfi. Put the mixture in this and with the help of spatula press gently.

    Add dryfruits for garnishing and let it set for 2 hours. Cut into desired shape.
