This glaze is sweet and spicy. It's perfect for basting meat with when it's less viscous or as a final glaze. The final product is a bit less than two cups in volume. If desired, you can reduce it further.

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/3 cupsoy sauce
  2. 1 1/3 cupapple cider vinegar
  3. 1 1/3 cupbrown sugar
  4. 7Kiefer leaves
  5. 7Chillies

Cooking Instructions

    Add the apple cider vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce to a high-walled pot.

  2. 2

    Smash the chillies and Kiefer lime leaves together then add to the pot.

  3. 3

    Reduce until half the original volume remains and the sauce is thickened. Strain.
