This is a bread smothered in homemade garlic sauce! A great addition to your Sunday braai ☺️

Turn oven on 200 on up and down heat. Take garlic and cut a tiny bit the edges on top with a knife, so the garlic flesh shows a bit

In a foil, place garlic inside, drizzle with olive oil, add butter, salt and pepper and close the foil well. Place in a Pyrex dish and in the oven for 1 hour.

Once ready, squeeze out the garlic in a small bowl, add more butter if you like and blend in well with a fork to make a nice paste. Add more butter and salt if you like. It should look like this

Cut the baguette into slices and then add with a spoon inside the baguette the garlic sauce you made. Drizzle the baguette with a bit of water, then turn oven on 50 degrees and place in the oven to keep warm and make it a bit more crispy. Enjoy!
