Baked Apple Dessert

Just yesterday I learnt right here on CookPad, how to make baked apple. Instantaneously, obsession flew over the roof and I trust I’ll now bake them everyday until I run out of them.
I used @macrae22 recipe and only made changes by soaking the dried fruits in brandy and adding a piece of butter for extra sauce. Thank you fellow CookPad chef, you have yourself an accomplished student right here lol.

Steps
- 1
Gather ingredients. There’s 2 separate pictures for ingredients, depicting you can make it two different ways i.e., you can split the apple in half or core it whole. Preheat oven to 180C
- 2
Soak raisins in brandy for 10 to 15 minutes, ensuring all the liquid soaks into the fruits. Toss soaked fruit into sugar and cinnamon and stuff mixture through the cored apple
- 3
Add the blob of butter at the top of the hole. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until soft and cooked through
- 4
Transfer apple to a bowl, along with all the spilled juice. Serve with ice-cream. I served mine with amarula ice-cream
- 5
Lick the bowl if it’s your house 😂
