Southern corn bread stuffing for chicken or turkey

Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsdry corn bread
  2. 1 cupchopped celery-crisp in ice water then dry
  3. 1/2chopped onion
  4. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  5. 1/8 teaspoonpepper
  6. 5eggs,beaten slightly

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Blend all the ingredients lightly with a fork. Any dressing not used as filling,place in the roasting pan and baste frequently when basting the fowl.
