Persimmon & Maple Syrup Yogurt

I don't like to eat overly ripe and soft persimmon as is. I tried adding maple syrup before and thought it was so good.
It goes very well with yogurt too.
I love simple food, and thought this was really delicious.

I used ripe persimmon. I recommend ripe persimmon since they are tender and delicious, but firm persimmons good too. Choose whichever you like.
Even a persimmon that doesn't taste good can be rescued with this recipe.
Adjust the amount of maple syrup (or honey) to taste.

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 80 gramsPlain yogurt
  2. 1/3or more Persimmon
  3. 1 tspor more Maple syrup (or honey)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Dice the persimmon (ripe persimmon is recommended) and pour in the maple syrup and stir. If you let the mixture sit for a while, the flavor will blend in. You can substitute maple syrup with honey.

  2. 2

Place the mixture from Step 1 onto the yogurt. For best result, mix the persimmon and honey together before adding into the yogurt. However, you can simply place the diced persimmon on the yogurt and drizzle maple syrup on top - it will turn out nicely no matter how you do it.
