Orange sweet potatoes are different from our regular white sweet potatoes. The orange sweet potato have a higher moisture content that the white one. The ideal way of cooking this orange sweet potatoes is by steaming, roasting or grilling. I’m not saying you can’t fry or boil it, I did fry but it was as if it wouldn’t fry and became so soft, and I also attempted to make porridge but it ended up more like a soup than porridge 😣. So I decided to look up ways to cook these potatoes ( I have so much potatoes and I don’t want to waste any). I’ll post the recipes I try out wit it and hope everyone finds it useful 🥰😋 and delicious

4orange sweet potatoes
2 tbspoil

Peel, wash and cut potatoes into wedges, keep aside to dry.

In a bowl, add oil and seasoning (thyme or dried parsley flakes, chili powder, ginger and garlic powder, onion powder, pinch of salt, maggi powder) of choice. Stir the mixture well. Add the oil into the bowl containing the sweet potatoes and mix making sure every sweet potato is coated with the mixture.

Grease a baking tray or spread foil paper on the baking tray. Arrange the potatoes on the tray and don’t let any overlapping. Place in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, flip each potato onto the other side and leave for another 10-15 minutes (if you want it crispier then let it stay longer in the oven).
