Break the frozen knafeh dough into fine pieces. Grease it well with butter. Mix 4 tablespoons of butter with red food coloring and spread it on the bottom of the baking pan. Add the knafeh dough, press it down, and bake until cooked. Remove from the oven, add cheese on top, and return to the oven.

Take the knafeh out after the cheese has melted. Prepare a larger pan with hot water and place the knafeh pan on top to create a water bath. Then, flip the knafeh onto a plate, add cold simple syrup, and garnish. Serve hot.
