Onion and Spinach Fritters

Crisp and crunchy Fritters or Pakoras are a yummy treat at Tea-time or Shaam Ki Chai since ages in our Country. We love these for a delicious Snacking on any day especially the Weekends or the holidays. Or just about any day whatsoever. These are made and relished in every Indian home. Dedicated to my second mom with love. That's my MIL. She was the one who taught me without a grumpy face, no matter how many stupid questions I would throw at her. She was always patient with me and I miss her a lot. I couldn't show her my tribute nor my prizes and accolades. I just love you MIL all the way to the Moon and back. Miss you so much. Sayonara! Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna!
And it's loved by the children and the adults alike. They just melt in mouth and are every bit yummy with a hot cup of Tea. Fritters are actually a great combo when paired with some Masala Chai. The rainy days or the Winter evenings are the most favorable times when these and many more varieties of Fritters or Pakoras are made and enjoyed to the fullest.

Steps
- 1
Make a thick yet a fluffy batter using all the ingredients mentioned for making these delicious Fritters or Pakoras. The batter should not be not watery. As Spinach has a tendency of leaving water and so are the Onions. Therefore use water as required. Give it a standing time of at least 20 minutes. It's a must for flavours to infuse and also for fluffy Pakoras.
- 2
Drop small balls of the batter into hot Oil and deep fry on a medium-high heat only. Keep turning the sides at regular intervals so that they cook well inside out. The Oil should be hot and fry in batches of 2 or 3 until golden and crisp. Serve with a hot cup of tea or coffee at tea-time or even for choti moti bhook. Enjoy!
- 3
Relish with a favourite Chutney or Dip of your family's choice. Yum!
