Assalam o Alaikum Presenting chana daal which is healthy n saucy lentil recipe..Chana dal is not quite a curry nor soup, but has a wonderfully saucy consistency that pairs perfectly when served with fluffy basmati rice and/or roti.
Steps

Heat the oil n add cumin,cloves n cinnamon sticks n let them crackle..
Now add onion,chilli, garlic paste n cook till changes color.. - 2
Add in ginger paste, When oil leaves sides add in all above-mentioned spices n cook till oil separates than add soaked chana dall n mix well..

Cook for few seconds than add water, cover n let it cook till daal boil..
Now prepared chili tadka.. - 4
Pour it over cooked daal.
Garnish as per your choice.
serve it with chapati or roti..hai
