Add whole milk to a heavy bottom pot on medium heat.

Once it has come to a boil, reduce the heat to medium-low and let the milk simmer on low heat till reduced to half.

Grind cashews in a grinder jar to a fine powder.

Add this cashew powder and cardamom powder to the milk and stir well.

Now add sugar and rose water.

Cook on low flame till it thickened, then switch off the heat.

Transfer in serving earthen pot and garnish with saffron and pistachios, serve chilled.
