Home-made sprouted hummus, made with chickpeas, garlic, lemon, and plenty of extra virgin olive oil. sprouted chickpeas actually do blend into a super creamy, fluffy hummus.
Using sprouted chickpeas to make hummus has many, many benefits .but sprouting them actually magnifies their vitamin and mineral content, improves the quality of the carbs and protein they contain, and neutralizes their anti-nutrients and enzyme inhibitors. This renders sprouted chickpeas very easy to digest with highly absorbable nutrients. Sprouts are also fairly low in calories, yet very filling because of their high fiber and water content.

Rinse the chickpeas well and dump them into the insert of your pressure cooker add 1cup of water close the lid pressure cook for 4whistle. Turn off the flame.

Then drain the chickpeas, and pour them into a blender or a food processor. Add the garlic, lemon juice salt tahini, olive oil, and water as well as any other flavoring s or seasoning you like. Process until completely smooth.

Serve the hummus immediately or store it in the fridge for up to one 1week.
