Hot Fudge Ice Cream Cake

I made this for a family get together and every special occasion my family and friends always ask for it 😋

Keep the ice cream sandwiches in freezer til ready to use. In a large mixing bowl add crushed oreos, the pudding mix, 3/4 jar hot fudge, and 1/4 tub cool whip. Mix everything very well. Set aside.

In a 13x9 baking dish add 1 layer ice cream sandwiches completely covering the bottom. Then spread half of the oreo mixture covering all the ice cream sandwiches. Then top with a little bit of cool whip covering oreo mixture. Then add another layer of ice cream sandwiches and rest of oreo mixture then top with rest of the Cool Whip.

Heat the rest of the ice cream topping in microwave til hot and creamy. Then with a fork drizzle some of the hot fudge topping over top of cake. Freeze for 25-35 minutes til ice cream is solid again. Then take out and enjoy 😋💕.

After many experimentations and making minor adjustments along the way (I probably made this over 10 times), I finally came up with a recipe that tastes just how I like it.If you have rum-preserved raisins on hand, you could use the rum which the raisins were preserved in, instead of using ordinary rum. But, if you use the raisins soaked in rum, the flavor of alcohol will be too strong, making it taste bitter. I tried to come up with a recipe to use canned fruit. I decided to use them to flavour an ice cream cake recipe that I had already uploaded.Use whatever brand of canned fruits you like. I wanted to make some ice cream with berries that I harvested. I don't want to eat uncooked eggs since I'm afraid of salmonella poisoning, so I came up with a recipe for an egg-free frozen cake. Italian frozen desserts like cassata and semifreddo gave me inspiration for the idea.I used a loaf pan (21 x 11 x 6 cm) for the cake mold. This recipe makes many servings, so if you need to reduce the amount, I recommend reducing all ingredients by 1/2.You can use a rectangular cake pan for the mold instead. A milk carton might also work. Add liqueur if you like.For the base, use your choice of cake such as sponge cake. You may even use many small strips of sliced sponge cake. Recipe by KT121
