Sabudana kheer

Sabudana kheer is an Indian pudding made with tapioca pearls (sago), milk, and sugar and flavored with cardamom and saffron. This vegetarian and gluten-free sweet is popular during the fasting season in India. It is thick, creamy, sweet, and absolutely delicious.

Wash the sabudana in water and drain them. And sock in 1/2 cup of water at least 2 hours. Sabudana obsured the water.

Heat milk heavy bottom pan upon the medium flame.

When milk keeps boiled add socked sabudana.

Add sugar and cook until sabudana becomes transparent around cook 10 - 15 minutes. Stir continuously.

Reduce heat to low and add chopped almonds, crused cardamom and mix well.

Turn off the flame serve in a serving bowl and garnish with saffron and enjoy!
