Gulab jaamun or Kala jaam is very popular sweet dish in North. Any occasion party, marriage or birthday is not complete without gulab jaamun. They are in many colors light & dark brown, dry or dip in syrup or coconut powder.

Gulab jaamun or Kala jaam is very popular sweet dish in North. Any occasion party, marriage or birthday is not complete without gulab jaamun. They are in many colors light & dark brown, dry or dip in syrup or coconut powder.
Steps

Cut the edge of the bread & grind it into powder form. Add milk powder to it.

Take milk, add slowly to bread & make a smooth paste. Now make a round or rectringal shape.

Deep fry it in ghee, on low medium flame, till golden brown. For syrup add sugar & water to a pan.

Boil it 3 to 4 min, add kesar in it. Now fried balls add into sugar syrup. Leave it for 1/2 an hour.

When serve microwave it. It would be soft and warm. A traditional sweet dish is ready.
