Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix all the ingredients until you get a smooth dough. Chill for one hour.
- 2
Roll out the dough to 1/8 inch thick. Cut rectangles measuring 1 1/2 by 2 3/4 inches. Place half a chocolate bar on one side, then gently roll the dough. Place the other half and close the cookie by folding the other side of the dough.
- 3
For a simpler version, simply place a whole chocolate bar in the middle of the dough rectangle and cover with a second rectangle.

Bake for 12 minutes at 350°F (180°C).

I had some frozen puff pastry left over and decided to use it to make some snacks.Make sure to press down on the end firmly and bake seam-side down, or it could lift up when baking! You can use a chocolate bar to make these. Maple Sablé Poche - Maple Flavored Vegetarian Cookies Maple Sablé Poche - Maple Flavored Vegetarian Cookies
I have allergy problems and I am also a casual vegetarian.I thought up this recipe so that my non-vegetarian friends would say "Delicious!" when eating them. They are quite light and crispy, so they are addictively delicious.I add a pinch of salt to enhance the sweetness. You can make different variations by adding tea leaves. crushed nuts or chopped dried fruits.Cocoa powder is stronger than maple syrup so I don't think it is a good combination. Super Simple Sablé Cookie Dough in 5 Minutes Super Simple Sablé Cookie Dough in 5 Minutes
The ratio of ingredients for this recipe are the same as other standard cookie cutter recipes. This recipe for sablé cookies is even easier than the recipe that I had made before. Try making this sweet snack with your kids!-If you're in a hurry to make these, use margarine... (I usually use this anyway). If you want to make chocolate cookies, reduce the flour to 180 g and add 20 g of cocoa powder.-Check out my rich chocolate version as well at!-Of course you can just make it the original way with the butter & sugar, cream it and then add in the egg and flour. They will still be delicious. Recipe by Keyua cookpad.japan -
French-Style Chocolate Sandwich Cookies French-Style Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
I was inspired by a French snack known as a "biscuit duchesse". The authentic recipe uses butter, powdered sugar, almond flour, and merengue. Mine is easier to make and easy on the wallet.-To avoid any separating, make sure to add the egg whites in small batches. If it still seems to separate, mix in 1 tablespoon of pancake mix (unlisted).-The batter will raise and spread when baked, so make sure to leave enough space between each portion of dough on the baking sheet. For approximately 15 french biscuits, 5 cm [2.0 in] in diameter. Recipe by Chisora cookpad.japan -
