Do you love mustard & turnip greens cooked together? I grew up eating this yummy green mixture over some hot southern cornbread!

Wash greens real well to remove dirt & grit. Wash, peel & dice turnip roots.

Fill large pot 3/4s full with water. (Approx 8 cups water to 12 qt pot) Add greens, roots, juice, bacon (or ham), onion and greens bring to a rolling boil.

Continue cooking at a full boil for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to low and simmer for additional 30 minutes, until tender. Taste and season with salt & pepper.
