Steps

Roast peanuts in a pan. Remove its skin and grind in a mixer.

Make a tempering. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, and crushed garlic. Saute for 1 minute.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and Kala masala. Saute for another 1 minute.

Add crushed peanut powder. Roast for 1 minute.

Add water. Make medium consistency of curry. Not so thin not so thick.

Add kokum and jaggery powder. Cover lid. Boil for 8 to 10 minutes.

Your peanut amti is ready. Serve hot with jowar bhakri, roti or rice.

Make pieces of bhakri or roti. Pour amti on it. Mix it then have it. You will relish the taste more by this method.
