Rambutan is a fruit native to South East Asia( Indonesia & Malaysia).
Rambutan got its name from the Malay word. It has a hairy red & green shell., golf ball sized fruit. It is related to the lychee. When it peels, its translucent white flesh has a sweet creamy taste & contains a seed in its middle.
It contains vitamins & minerals, Strengthen teeth & bones. Regulates blood sugar levels.
It helps to prevent cancer, Maintain heart health. Tones Skin..

  1. 20Rambutan fruit
  2. 1 tbspGinger & garlic chopped
  3. 2Green chilly
  4. 3Chilly flakes
  5. half tspTurmeric powder
  6. 1 tspFenugreek powder
  7. 1 tspHing powder
  8. 1 tspCumin powder
  9. as neededSalt
  10. 1 tbspCurry leaves
  11. 2 tbspGingelly oil or Coconut oil
  12. 2 n half tbspKashmiri chilly powder
  13. 1 cupWater
  14. 1 tspJaggery powder
  15. 1 tspMustard

    Peel the hairy part of the Rambutan fruit. Wash the white fruit with water.

    Heat a pan, pour oil, then add mustard, when it splutters, add chilly flakes, ginger & garlic chopped, green chilly (cut it into pieces), and curry leaves. Stir it on medium flame for 2 min.

    Then add Kashmiri chilly powder & turmeric powder. Stir it well, add water & the required salt, stir it till it absorbs, then add jeera powder, fenugreek powder & hing powder. Stir it a while, add Rambutan fruit, and mix it well. Stir it on low heat for 2 min. Sprinkle jaggery powder & mix it well. Remove from heat

    Transfer it into a serving bowl.
    Serve it with Rice & other dishes
    When it cools, store it in a steel container or glass container.
