Steps
- 1
Wash rice grits 3 times and soak for 15minutes to soften.wash Moringa leaves and steam for 10 minutes.
- 2
Boil water in a steamer or pot, drain the rice grits and pour into a steamer or a sieve with sieving cloth and place over a pot and steam for 15 minutes.
- 3
Rinse the Rice again and drain then transfer to a big bowl and add steamed zogale, seasoning, groundnut, onion, pepper and oil and mix together till all incorporated.
- 4
Then pour the mixture back to the steamer and steam for 30-40 minutes.it can be eaten with sauce, oil and chilli pepper.
- 5
Note: instead of using my steamer I decided to try using a colander and a sieve cloth to see if it gives me d same result, if your rice is not soft after 30-40 minutes you Can steam a little bit more.the water for steaming should never dry out and should not be touching your rice while steaming.if you notice your water is almost drying off add a little bit.
