Karak chaye

#Moonsoon
Feeling sleepy? Worry not, this strong Karak Chai is going to wake you up in an instant.
And then you’ll actually wake up every morning looking forward to having Karak Chai at home. And soon you’ll be so in love with karak chai, you won’t be able to function without it. Okay just kidding, it’s not that addictive. But it kinda is. Shhh, don’t tell anyone.

Steps
- 1
Start by measuring 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil in a saucepan.
- 2
Now the most important part the ratio of tea to water. This is a strong tea,. For each cup of water I add 1.5 heaping teaspoons of tea. If you're using tea bags (I don't recommend it for this tea) I would use 1 1/2 teabag for each cup so that would be 3 teabags.
- 3
After adding the tea. Add sugar. Bring it to a boil
- 4
Add milk and bring the tea a roaring boil. Immediately off the flame and let the tea calm down a bit.
- 5
Let put it back on the heat and bring it to a roaring boil again. Repeat this pattern for about 5 minutes until you can see that beautiful caremal colour.
- 6
Using a tea Strainer, pour the tea in to mugs and enjoy
