One of my favorite fall slow cooker meals.. i used my smaller slow cooker for this one, and its almost to small its overflowing. You can also add any kinda peppers for heat or hot sauce if you want. I ended up stirring is occasionally. I like to serve like nachos.

Ingredients

6+
  1. 15 ozbutter beans
  2. 15 ozcan kidney beans
  3. 4green onions
  4. 1 1/2 lbextra lean ground beef
  5. 1/2 Cfrozen chopped onion
  6. 2.5 ozreal bacon bits or pieces
  7. 32 ozbaked beans
  8. 1 Cketchup
  9. 3 Tapple cider vinegar
  10. 2 Tbrown sugar
  11. 1 Cchicken broth
  12. 2 Cshredded cheddar cheese
  13. 1 bagtortilla chips

Cooking Instructions

    Drain and rinse first 2 ingredients. Chop green onions.

    Add the first 11 ingredients to slow cooker and mix well. Cook on low 5 hrs

  3. 3

    The last 20-30 min add the cheese on top until it melts and its done, serve with tortilla chips.

    Done

    For Instant Pot: Cook on high pressure for 6 minutes. Use natural release for 5 minutes, then release pressure.

    (if you ave any leftovers you can add it to a freezer bag, let it cool completely and freeze it as a freezer meal, and place it the night before in the refrigerator to thaw some and cook it in the crockpot the next day)
