This simple curry is serve with fried sardine 🐟 and fried green bananas, can be eaten with 🍚 rice.

This simple curry is serve with fried sardine 🐟 and fried green bananas, can be eaten with 🍚 rice.

Wash and clean 🐟 fish, pat dry with paper napkin, keep aside. To make coriander paste: in a mortar and pestle add chopped coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste 🧄, green chillies, cumin seeds and grind.

Remove the mixture from mortar into a bowl, add salt🧂, cayenne pepper powder 🌶️, black pepper powder, oil, plain yoghurt, 1 tsp lemon juice 🍋 and mix well, spread on the fish, set aside for 30 mins.

Shallow fry the fish, on low - medium flame, until done, keep aside, peel green bananas and shallow fry them, keep aside.

To make curry: heat oil, add cumin seeds, when start to crackle, add onions paste 🧅, cook until golden, add ginger- garlic paste 🧄, green chillies paste mix well, cook for 1 min.

Add tomato puree 🍅, salt 🧂, and mix until tomato becomes tender and soft, add kashmiri red chillies powder 🌶️, turmeric powder, coriander & cumin powder and mix well, add plain yoghurt, cook until oil comes out.

Add little 1/4 cup water, coconut cream mix well, cover and cook for 5 mins,make a thick gravy, pour hot gravy on fried 🐟 fish and serve with fried green bananas.
