A basic fermentation brine to experiment with various veggies. This makes 1 pint of brine and can be used with up to 1 quart of veggies stuffed into a wide mouth canning jar
Cooking Instructions

Heat water and salt. Once boiling and dissolved, turn off heat. Add ice and allow to fully melt
- 2
Add veggies to pint canning jar. Pour half brine add weight, gurgling lid and canning ring to secure gurgling lid on jar. If you do not have a gurgling lid, you’ll need to periodically open your lid to release pressure from the gasses that build up from fermentation.

Wait 10-14 days.
