Ingredients

3 servings
  • For potato wedges :
  • 2potato (wedges)
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 2 tbspcornflour
  • 1/2 tsppepper (crushed)
  • as requiredOil for deep frying
  • For honey chilli potato :
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 clovegarlic (finely chopped)
  • 2green chilli (slit)
  • 1 inchginger (crushed)
  • 2 tbspspring onion (chopped)
  • 1/2capsicum (cubed)
  • 1/2onion (petals)
  • 1/2capsicum (cubed))
  • 1 tspchilli sauce
  • 2 tbsptomato sauce
  • 2 tbspsoya sauce
  • 1 tbspvinegar
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • 1 tbspcornflour
  • 1/4 cupwater
  • 2 tbsphoney
  • 1 tspwhite til (roasted)

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly, in a large kadai, heat 2 tsp oil, saute garlic, ginger, green chilli, spring onion.

  2. 2

    Saute onion and capsicum on high flame. Now add chilli sauce, soya sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar and salt. Saute on high flame for 30 seconds.

  3. 3

    Now, mix corn flour and water without any lumps.

  4. 4

    Pour the cornflour mixture and stir continuously till it turns translucent.

  5. 5

    Turn off the flame and add honey and mix well, add fried potatoes and mix gently.

  6. 6

    Also, add roasted til and spring onions.

  7. 7

    Finally, serve honey chilli potato hot with fried rice or as it is.
