Steps
- 1
In a large non-stick Wok etc. add One whole Carton of Vegetable Oil and then heat the Vegetable Oil up on the hob stove to a temperature of 375oF. A meat thermometer helps you get the right temperature

Using the disc grate Attachment of your Tefal. Grate thin slices of potatoes. Could use a mandolin or a potato Peeler, but a large amount of potatoes are being used for a large mixing bowl of homemade crisps
- 3
Pre-soak the raw thin slices of potatoes in cold tap water for at least 30 minutes. Use Kitchen Roll too pat dry and then place the thin slices of potatoes in the hot Vegetable Oil and then count 420 seconds or time 7 minutes on your Smartphone etc. and then use a Slotted Spoon too put the cooked crisps in a large mixing bowl with Kitchen Roll underneath - salt each layer on top
- 4
Place Clingfilm over the top of the large mixing bowl or ideally store in Air Tight Containers, or One large Air Tight Container
