1/2 kgboneless chicken breast or thigh
2 tspItalian seasoning
3 tbspbacon bits or 4 slices bacon, chopped
200 g (1 can)sliced mushrooms
1 cupcream
1/4 tsppaprika
to taste, salt and pepper

Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. In a hot skillet or with a blowtorch char the chicken pieces until lightly browned. In a 175°C oven, bake until chicken is cooked through, about 20 to 25 minutes.

Fry the bacon bits on medium heat until the fat renders out and the bacon becomes crisp, about 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and saute for 2 minutes.

Add cream, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove chicken from oven and pour cream sauce over it and serve.
