Keep-warm apple + blackberry crumble w/ hazelnut top

This is all I want to make on a dark, cold Sunday afternoon. If you like a very fruity crumble, up the fruit by another 100-200g.

This is all I want to make on a dark, cold Sunday afternoon. If you like a very fruity crumble, up the fruit by another 100-200g.
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 180C.
- 2
Combine the flour and sugar in a bowl with a good pinch of salt.
- 3
Cut the butter into cubes and rub it into the flour until it looks like wet breadcrumbs.
- 4
Toast the hazelnuts in a dry frying pan over a medium heat, set aside.
- 5
Slice and chop the apples. If you want a bit of texture, slice half and roughly chop half the apples.
- 6
Place in a baking dish, toss through 2 tbsp sugar and the blackberries.
- 7
Finely chop *most* of the toasted nuts, and just roughly chop a small handful to sprinkle on later.
- 8
Stir the finely chopped nuts through the flour mixture, then pile onto the fruit and spread it out in an even layer.
- 9
Sprinkle over the chunkier nuts and the oats.
- 10
Put in the oven for 30-40 mins until golden on top and the fruit is bubbling. Stand for 10 mins, then serve.
