Steps

Make Chena by curdling milk with help of lemon and strain excess water.

Boil potato + raw banana and keep aside. Now mash potato + raw banana, now mix Chena into it and also add salt + red chilli powder + cumin powder + coriander powder and mix all well. The whole mixture will turn to a dough.

Now pinch medium size portion and make kofta by giving round flat shape. Then shallow fry koftas till golden brown and keep aside.

Koftas are ready.

In moderately heated pan add oil, add cumin seeds + bay leaf and allow to crackle, then add boiled potato cubes and stir fry for 2 minutes.

Now add all dry spices except garam masala and stir fry by adding 3-4 tbsp water, stir fry till spices leaves oil and turns aromatic, then add water and give 5-6 times rolling boil.

Then add all the koftas and cook for 3 minutes, then add garam masala + sugar + chopped coriander and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add ghee and mix nicely. Dish is ready.

Garnish with coriander and serve with hot steamed rice.
