In Dutch oven or stock pot heat oil over medium high heat

Add onions and cook until translucent. About 4-5 min

Add garlic and cook additional 1 min

If chicken is raw add to pan and cook until starting to brown. About 5-6 mins. if cooked just add to pan.

Add cannellini beans, chicken broth green chilies and cumin.

Heat over medium heat until just starting to boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for at least 45 min. Chili will thicken.

Add optional cilantro and serve.
