Crab Choripán

Wishing you all much happiness in 2023. It's a pleasure to share this recipe with you. I made these choripanes using crab meat shaped into sausages and used homemade French rolls. The bread turned out delicious, and the crab sausages were just as good. I served them with chimichurri sauce and tartar sauce. The choripanes were spectacular.

In a bowl, beat the egg, mayonnaise, mustard, and breadcrumbs together. Add and mix in the remaining ingredients.

Divide the mixture into 6 equal parts. Shape each into a sausage, place them on a sheet of parchment paper lightly sprayed with oil, and freeze for about 20 minutes to help them firm up.

Coat the crab sausages in flour, then beaten eggs, then breadcrumbs. Freeze again so they become firm. Fry the sausages until golden brown.

Split the French rolls lengthwise. Add a layer of lettuce, place the crab sausage on top, and cover with tartar sauce, chimichurri, or pebre. Everyone can add their preferred sauce.
