This delicious roll recipe is great for stuffing with any favorite filling. The image for this recipe shows a meat and sauce stuffed roll.

Poor very warm water into a large bowl. Sprinkle yeast evenly into water.

Sprinkle sugar evenly into the water and yeast. Wait for foam to build on surface, about 5 minutes. Keep away from drafty places.

Evenly add 2 cups of the flour and mix well. Stir well.

Add the egg and mix well. Stir well.

Gradually add and mix in remaining flour. Use a little more flour if needed. Hand mix, then let rest while you prepare the stuffing ingredients.

Separate dough into 8 pieces. Place onto sprayed cooking pan. Flatten each piece gently out into desired circular, or rectangular shape you want. Spray hands to help dough not stick to hands.

Place 1/2 cup,or more, of filling on each center. Gracefully gather each corner and side of the dough up together, while keeping the filling in the middle, gather the dough up towards the middle to then twist together to seal the roll.

Bake at pre-heated 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes, or when slightly browned.
